DotA IMBA! Imbalance In Balance



DotA IMBA actually already out there for quite some times. However, not many people are able to play it because the map is using the Chinese language. But lucky for us, Harekke paired with SII_112 recently has just translated the DotA IMBA map, which originally created by Mimya, into English version.


"Hey Alief, wait, what do you mean by DotA IMBA? I never play it before!" Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you. DotA IMBA is similar to the regular DotA. But there's one big difference, the skills are all IMBA (Imbalance). Imbalance is a term which means too powerful. Something which is avoided by IceFrog on the regular DotA map.

What? Purification deals 9999 damage to nearby unit?

Wants more? Fissure has 4 times of the usual length. Ravage is casted 4 times in a row. And many more! And don't forget, Mimya also added Ice Phoenix and some additional items on this map. Cool!

    Does anyone have any idea on how to kill the Roshan in this map? I have used every cheat I can come up with: -test, -whosyourdaddy, and nothing seems to work against him, he simply refuses to die! The only thing I found working was N'aix's buffed ultimate, which seems to lower his armor and damage without stopping, but that takes way too long. Any suggestions?

    OFC its able to kill rosh! I made it tousend times :D
    But he got every next attack faster and chance for instant kill thats why it so hard.
    You just have to kill him faster then he can kill you so in about 10 seconds max :D

    i got atropos and ursa, then typed -wtf and tried killing him. it seems to be possible at the beginning but as roshan's hp comes to 10% appr., his hp no longer decreases and atros ulti is blocked again and again. wtf dude xD

    when 2vs2 the GP become >1000
    when 3vs3 the GP become >1500

    Juz take atkers with 1 rhasta keep putting ward and 1 treant keep ulti-ing and use imba atk dmg to down the bear. Buy assault and vladmir for them xD. Or juz take an army of svens with imba items to down it

    Yes, i do read those comment and i always do, but none of them is giving a real source nor link. In fact, i immediately check again whether there's an update or not, but there isn't. The last official English version is still this version. I don't know if there's unofficial version out there, but i don't wanna risk promoting a map which could have cheats/hack inside it. And since Chinese is not the main language of this blog, i didn't put those map in here too.. But if you do found that map, feel free to put it here with the link to the source, and i'm gladly update the post :)

    Here's a good way to kill roshan...

    - Type gamemode
    - Type -test after it.
    - Type -wtf and -noherolimit after that.
    - Pick centaur, make scepter on him, 3 hearts, butterfly and cuirass.
    - Pick windrunner, make 3 divines on her, scepter, buriza and monkey king bar for true strike(you'll need this to not miss attacks on rosh).
    - Pick another carry hero, just remember to make MKB, this is probably the most important item when fighting rosh.
    - Let cent tank rosh.
    - Spam ulty with windrunner and let the other carry attack rosh while cent tanks.
    - His hp will decrease very slowly with attacks, so be patient when killing him.

    Good luck!

    PS: Rosh drops an item called "Unlucky ring" which gives minor stats and has a passive abillity which lowers enemies hp as low as yours.

    map mode -wtf and -ap
    pick dazzle, pick shallow grave, buy boot, then go girl!
    u get 25lvl, aegis, unlucky ring, after kill it

    roshan can be killed with just 3 hero. I played with my friends and we  manage to kill it but after about an hour to get full item. By that time roshan upgrade will be 800< damage. Phantom lancer with satanic, butterfly, that x4 critical star item, divine, mkb and heart.
    Sniper with x4, mkb, 2 divine,2 butterfly or 3 divine 1 butterfly. The last one is nerubian wear with same item with phantom lancer. Sniper don't need satanic because he is hitting beside and he won't get hit at all, PL's job is just keep spawning those illusions to tank while nerubian has an AWESOME aspd, I can bring the roshan down to 10% health solo... A must have item is MKB for no miss attacks.

     i use phantom assassin with 2 divine, a monkey king bar, a satanic, that 4x critical item and a butterfly.. believe me.. u can kill roshan within 4 min solo.. but make sure u are in level 25..

    killed him solo with naix lifesteal + sk lifesteal aura. . . the idea is not to do too much damage in 1 go, he will heal it back straight away.

    I can kill roshan without cheat, just fully upgraded items using this heroes.
