ReplyDeleteThe only thing that makes this blog alive and unique is that it does not post any hacks to discourage people to hack. I think that Dota-Blog are able to reach such a high amount of views w/o using hacking tools to attract viewer. One of the Best Dota Blog around =)

The reason why this blog has many page viewers is because you have to google "Dota blog" only, and you get a lot of of interesting content to go.

By the way, I like to give credit to Guinsoo as well. Many of you DoTA players may not play/know of the earliest DoTA map. Some guy named Guinsoo created the first generation of DoTA somewhere during the early 2000s. Its development stopped at version 5.84c and there is no further development of the map despite the huge amount of imbalance in the map. Some of the old school heroes as we know are Zeus, Slardar, Bone, Riki and many more :)
ps. the old Riki has perma invi as normal skill and a non-channeling death ward as ulti WOOTS!!
And Guinsoo the creator named 1 of his favorite item as his name :D
Well, despite the imbalance in the map, the map began to popularize even though Guinsoo intended to create the map to share with his friends in the first place. That may be one of the reason why he did not continue the map development. Lucky for us :D we have IceFrog who took over the map development and expand it to what the world know as DoTA today :D the map everyone knows and craze about. The fame has even surpassed Blizzard's Warcraft 3 : Frozen Throne until some players do not know what is Warcraft 3. They just know DoTA. Thx to IceFrog for the success of the map and also this blog that keep the juicy updates for all of us :)

Say...can you guys write a post introducing the history of DoTA or some sort? :) I would like to know the history part of it. Not sure bout the others though. Most of the players in my region dont bother to know...but I would like to know bout this :D pls? thanks in advance ^^
