Rubick's Unstealable Ability List


Confuse about which spell that cannot be stolen by Rubick the Grand Magus? This list which taken from PlayDota forums will help you about that.

List of abilities that Rubick cannot steal:
Useless abilities
- Example: Sub-abilities, or Quas/Wex/Exort/Invoke
Transformation abilities
- Example: Chemical Rage, Firefly, Flak Cannon, ect..Arrow abilities

- Example: Poison Attack, Glaives of Wisdom, ect..
Items
- It's obvious!
Abilities with hotkey conflicts
Q: None!
X: X Marks the Spot, Shadowraze X, Tornado, Exorcism
Z: Shadowraze Z, Freezing Field, Alacrity
Abilities with technical issues:
Morph Agility/Strength, Summon Spirit Bear, Spin Web, War Club, Soul Assumption, Refraction, Borrowed Time, Overcharge, Spirits, Insatiable Hunger, Devour, Telekinesis, Fade Bolt, Spell Steal (!)

I hope this list will help you playing Rubick. I must say that he's a unique hero which can be compared with Invoker :) Anyway, have you ever use Supernova with him? :D

    Of course he can't steal auras. Neither are passives.

    How about Requiem of Soul and Eclipse? How does he deal damage with it?

    Wait next version... they might add more to the useless Spell steals.

    Why can't they just put the stolen spells to W hotkey...
    Like this... "Omnislash (W)"

    And his other spells to normal hotkeys like Telekinesis E, Drop D, Fade Bolt T, Null Field F

    I try to steal ulti skill from enemy heroes from their last cast. but i failed. i try to steal ravage (failed, i get gush or anchor smash), primal spilt (failed, get thunder clap/drunken haze), time lapse(failed, i get sukuchi).

    not so easy for eu stole a useful skill.
    not every turn gt hero that eu wan steal his skill.
    seemz cool, but must only pro can use it well, as eu duno what ur ulti in game.
    item built may change in different game event in game.
    as eu death, eu lost ur ulti.

    d skill he steal last 20 seconds oni la >.> d gay part is his fade bolt.. debuff and 300hp chained nuke usin lil mana and cd blardy fast =.=" early game sure own gao gao >.> and his mana pool looks big enuf 2 support any spell he steals... so... quite gay........plus stun =.="

    can he steal invokers spells (like alacrity, sun strike, ghost walk, ice wall, or etc...) it only says quas, wex, exort on invoker...

    fade bolt is too powerful but the hero is quiet balanced but i think he still needs some changes! anyway i really thank icefrog and every single personne responsable for creating Dota from creating spells to choosing colors!You guys rock!:D

    Troll is not that IMBA.
    Yes the second skill changed is good but still troll is defeatable.
    I conqured TROLL with BLOOD in 1v1.
    TROLL had the following invent:
    -HELM
    -BUTERFLY
    -LOTHAR
    -TREADS
    -MKB
    -BATTLEFURY
    I that is BLOOD had following invent:
    -RAD
    -FORCE STAFF
    -VLADS
    -LOTHAR
    -BATTLEFURY
    -PHASE BOOTS

    Blood Won.

    Have u played Dota Allstars 6.68 Fun

    It has a hero which can steal all skills of opponents 1,2,3 and Ulti.

    But its in order stil he cal steal is a good player.
    His model was of wisp

    He can steal BKB for some reason. and on his skill list it will not show up as BKB Icon but a courier icon instead..tried and seen it ^_^
