DotA 6.69 Will Contain a Quick Update (And a Quest)
IceFrog has just made a new post on his blog, today. From the post, seems that the DotA 6.69 will contain a quick update, mostly balance i guess. Just a usual routine after a patch which contains a lot of updates like DotA 6.68. However, you must note that the next version is 6.69, which means there will be a hidden quest on that version! If you didn't know, there's kind of a tradition on DotA that every 6.x9 version, there will be a hidden quest on it. Check out the previous quest for the reference, the DotA 6.59b hidden quest (Tauren Chieftain) and DotA 6.49's quest (Invoker). From the past quests, you should note that all the bosses are the new heroes for the next version. So, could this mean DotA 6.69 quest will have Phoenix as the boss?
Anyway, here what IceFrog said:
Development is underway on the next patch. It won't take as long to release as the previous version did. Please send me your feedback on 6.68 along with what you'd like to see in 6.69!

ReplyDeleteHow about a phoenix-killing quest, but it can't be killed by normal means. You have to do something so that the phoenix stops its never-ending cycle of resurrection similar to when the Chieftain first appeared. And please more balances to the old and new heroes?

other skills,
making its armor high and when are are within the aoe closer to icarus, ur going to be burnt but in a second only.
fire bird wave-like the skill of lina.
and like the 1st skill of huskar, it is stackable but it consume its mana and life.

ReplyDeleteu can also make the ultimate of pheonix like this.
ReplyDeleteu can amplify ur allies for 15 sec and when in the clash all the enemy heroes will automatically attack ur allies who u use the amplify but the enemy cant use skills and cant move until the 15 sec done. it is when they got at the aoe closer to that hero.
it is usefull when u have centaur, huskar or any other strength hero.
Or perhaps an item that could convert Roshan as your ally for 60 seconds, an item that could convert the enemy tower as your ally for 60 seconds, or again an item that could convert the enemy fountain attack the enemy heroes near it?

ice frog why wouldnt u return gambler? hes pretty fun to play. no disables though. but he still plays his role in team battle - he takes out most dangerous hero quick :P and its hard to keep ur gold up all the time
