Starcraft 2 in Stores! Buy It Now Before Too Late :)
Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty finally is launched.. And if you're a DotS fans, then i believe that you will also love Starcraft II. Starcraft II is a game made by Blizzard, which also the creator of Warcraft III. While the Warcraft series is talking about magic, summon and rune, Starcraft deals with laser, bomb, aircraft, tank and other future stuffs. Despite the different background, they have pretty similar game play. Any Warcraft players should be able to adapt and play Starcraft with ease.
Starcraft II will continue the epic battle between the Protoss, Zerg and Terrans. These three race will once again fight for the survival on the the fast-paced real-time strategy game, similar to Warcraft III. Starcraft II comes with updated graphics and many new contents. And what makes it more interesting, Starcraft II also includes a map editor just like Warcraft III. This means you can create your own Dota version on the Starcraft II!

ReplyDeleteI hope not. I still love the Warcraft III Dota :) I merely see the Starcraft II as another option for our game, just like when we eat Burger or Hotdog. Both are delicious and can co-exist :)

Someone will make a SC2 AoS obviously, it wont be Icefrog. There's been other AoS maps for WC3 but people just dont play them. Itll probably be shitty though and rarely updated. WC3 DotA will move to the Source Engine on Steam and WC3 wont be updated anymore because updating 2 code bases would be fucking stupid. Itll be free anyways and much much better because he can add shit he cant with Blizzards simple map editor.
ReplyDeleteI agree that he should improve the graphics and some other details if he switches to Source, but the gameplay and the speed of the game shouldn't be drastically changed as with HoN.

The graphics on Source will be better just because the engine itself is better. Nothing else will change because he can make sure it wont. The graphics will be crisper and more detailed but wont be rediculously over the top and annoying either, just look better. Alien Swarm might give you some kinda idea about what kinda graphics youll get with a DotA on the Source engine, not to mention the game is quite fun and free.

ReplyDeleteThe SC more popular and the best RTS game ever because of its evolution from a single player game to a coop and multiplayer game which do not make people play them just because you just want to maximize your current load hours consume but because its a lot of fun for being able to play the game anytime and anywhere you want. And i won't be suprise if its will not be added in WGC RTS category game.
