Chilling Touch is imba with burst attacking skills such as Phantom Strike, Overpower and Troll's ulti.

Cold Feet + Ice Vortex + (insert disable skill) = 100% death for the target... That's more than 5 seconds of disable, slow and increased magical damage.

Not a das idead for a hero, has nice ganking capabilities. Hope hes not that imba, as we all know that icy ALWAYS makes them way too powerful on their first appearance

nice skills, they support each other, this one would be a great ganker.. also its ulti can be use to explore maps and kill enemies who got away with low hp, it only has 20 sec cooldown at lvl3.. i think this hero will be nerf at the next versions

Why do you take so many items for mana? Guinsoo and shiva i think a bit unnecessary here, but... Intelligence give more damage, effects can be useful. Vexed question

About kill order, I agree, but VOrtex must be earlier than Touch, because you must decrease move speed.

If you stand with partner with stun, or any disable (Shaman's net, or Murlock chain, or Seer's Vortex) First blood can be on 3 level

his ulti is so gay..with bad timing it goes to waste...1st u cast his ulti then the ice thingy goes straight in a line then the hard part is to activate it near the enemy..there is a high chance it would miss greatly though...so it is gay

his ulti is useful in clearing up huge creep waves in other lanes, extra gold for Kaldr :)

tip for using his ulti,, instead of timing it looking at the enemy, just look at the minimap specially when the enemy is far away, its easier to land it that way because you can see the skill move so you can time your skill.. timing is very important,, with that 20 sec cooldown his ulti will surely be handy at clash points.. PT and LS will be the core build of this hero for mana regen and hp

1. Best item for this crap is SKADI and DAGON. No need to explain, it is too obvious.
2. Main role as a Supporter. why? because of its 3rd skill.
3. Imba? OMG, it can slows and FREEZES for 3.5s. NO, enemies with boots can easily run from the curse that's why we need skadi.
4. U might say this to me "SRY UR A NOOB, ITS ULTI IS WAY TOO COOL." Lolz, who will hit by it? only -> noobs.

Anyway this hero is cool, make a dual lane with a stunner, something like sven, leoric, ursa and its pure fun.
This is a teamplay hero, and a great one.

only noobs cannot avoid his ulti? are you fucking stupids? ever think about teamplay? like having magnus or treant? it depends on tactics of the team, this hero ain't a solo type hero, it's a teamplayer for buffing and ganking, so even if his ulti misses theres a lot to come more because of that 20sec cooldown, he could even explore maps with his ulti and if the user has quick reflexes, he could use it at farms of the enemy..

just put it this way, if you see this icy of about 1k hp hero charging on you it has an ally nearby to kill you

oh and by the way, this hero would not need skadi, it would prefer guinsoo, if you ask the reason you are the fucking noob but i'd tell it anyway so that the enemy would not move, cold feet then guinsoo then use the other skills then attack.. the enemy is disabled for about 8sec

kaldr has very low hp, so easy to kill... this hero needs a lane buddy always for early game survivavility and to land a kill, a slower or stuner would be preferable..

nevermore + enigma + atropos + kaldr = a bunch of ghost looking hero that would kill you.. hope there would be a fire type next time..

Why its so easy to avoid???
Its easier than miranas arrow and pudges hook but u propably suck at both or dont know how to use it..
Also his skillset is just imba..he has nukes,stuns,aoe slow amplify magic dmg,aoe increase ally dmg,a global aoe ulty that scales perfect on lategame cause of 12%hp = dead ,great farming skill(ulty),and his skills have very low manacost for what they do..
Anyway enjoy him till 6.66 he will be nerfed 100%

A tip for the ulty when in a teamclash.
Dont use it as a finishing spell but rather on the start of the fight so the first player will die fast.then you can use it again of you survive the next 20s to finish the remain heroes.

p.s. i know it will depend on the player so don't take that as a reason on judgement..

i think rylai is better cause of his aura.. regen for everyone.. although the new hero's ulti is cool to use.. and rylai's frost bite is instant so you'll never know what will hit you.. so if you are ganking a blink type hero he can easily blink and get away. unlike crystal maiden's ice and its up to her team mates to kill.. and so on..

rylai is way more cooler than this hero if in a teamfight..disabler,slower,mana regen in a fight,ulti that can really OMG FUCK U DIE.... but this new guy is also got his own potential..his third skills really help A LOT in a team clash.. make his ulti invisible be4 it hit the enemy..that would be more cooler..gotta say..his ulti can be avoidable..unless u got stunner or disabler in ur team..i hope ice would make his ulti invi n cannot be seen by his enemy though..

they got 3 earth already, TC, ES, tiny kind of. they have for wind, windrunner is all i can think of. maybe add more wind. a melee wind type would be cool maybe have him carry a sword and have his attacks act like luna's glaive bounce instead of a cleave.

This guy is soooo fun to use. 1st skill, hex, 2nd skill, T (ulti), shiva (make sure you do it quickly after pressing T so your target will have a hard time getting away from your ulti), T again (to make the ulti explode), 3rd skill, attack = most probably dead. You might not even need the last two. Also in whole team clashes, if there are alot of aoe damagers/stunners in your team and you time your ulti right it's usually easy to get double/triple kills.

woah!!! your build is good, but i suggest you take the mid lane...... as you can see the bot or top lane there, use the ice blast for KILL STEALING action.... HAHAHAH!!!

This guy has a good agi gain but low str gain, so he needs some survival item, maybe some bracers + guinso or with a better farm, linken + guinso. i think guinso is a must becouse his disable/slow is not enough, and skadi is too expansive for what it gives. Mekanism or hood/pipe are optional for situations but thinking he's a supporter, so these items would be nice too.

Also becouse of his nice agi gain he can be a good damage dealer int. with his supportive 3rd skill. Not as good as silencer but his nukes, slow and a little disable makes him even. So guinso is a must again, also shiva is some supportive some survival, good for him.

so, as summary, first survive with your dota skills or boosting hp with items, provide some regen for your skills and farming, then go for a guinso, next use your imagination for a better synergy of items and skills...

So far I've been going linkens with this hero so he has good regen and a bit of survivability. I would go sheep next but the game usually ends because he is such a good team player and we can catch strays with my ulti. I tried dagon but I would only use it on fragilies.

Big nerf for this hero soon, lots of fun to play.

this guy is insane...
he can nuke a hero at roughly 35% of his health...
on an average lets assume a hero's max health = 2k at roughly
so he is at say 800.
his ulti at 16 is like 450dmg. so he's down to 350.
now his health regen is frozen.
plus he takes about 20dps over 8 secs = 160dmg.
so he's down to 190. thats below the shatter threshold. so boom.
the threshold would be 0.12*2k roughly. thats 240 health.
even if u factor in some MDR, this guy can globally nuke and lane control and farm.
haven seen a nuker/ganker/lane-control like this O_O

pls add a hero that is of fighting type

shiva > vortex > attack > guinsoo > attack > cold feet > vortex > kill

in early game he can easily rape almost all int agi heroes without boots

but in midgame and lategame he is only supporter especially when the enemies have heroes like riki trax morty or evil pudge axe skeleton tanks

other int heroes like obsidian windrunner or lina can own him easy too

so he is not that imba, it depens on what the enemy pick and whats in your team

he is quite good with any kind of disabler but can easily be a victim and he need expensive items but not the time for farming soo long cause he is supporter and/or ganker

CM vs AA - both are useful, completely situational. CM's survivalbility is shit low, and you can still use skills when frozen. Try combining the two (double roaming)
The ulti is damn easy to use and if you cant get it right either you have a really crazy lag or you really dont know hot to play. And are we forgetting the instant kill? His ulti causes heroes to die instantly if heroes hp drops below a certain percentage, within 7(imba) seconds after hit. Are we forgetting the magic resistant decrease? How fast do you think teams fall with those skills around in a nuke fest?
Guinsoo? Good luck farming that. You'll be ganking too much to get that item. If playing good, get a diffusal blade. (If you dont get the logic go die). If team is doing not that great get mek and supports. In a good team gameplay should take 30 minutes to break the throne

yea he is pure support dunno how you would get guinsoo's first on him so he'll have like 1300 mana and about 600 hp...yea anyone w/ burst dmg = gg...support build should be urn/mech/travs/shivas he's so item independent that it shouldn't matter since you're playing support you'll always rely on someone else after early/mid game

I love this hero. much more imba on late game as long as you can really utilize his skills to the max. killed 3 hitters that were coming at me =)
here are the items that use for this hero:

Phase boots - I prefer this than treads. I can get away safely from hitters chasing me with the active +movement speed and Kaldr's first 2skills

Blood stone - for more mana and health and regen. Once I get this I never run out mana and I can start spamming Kaldr's last skill.

Vanguard(optional) - I always start with stout shield in the beginning of the game then sell it or go to vanguard depending on the flow of the game.

Shiva's guard - +armor +int and an aeo slow and damage. a must have. together with vanguard you can survive more :)

Guinsoo - now this one I really love. The reason why I can take on 2 or more heroes at once and get double, triple kills. works well together with shiva's guard <3

Ghost scepter(optional) - for hitters >:D

Heart of Tarrasque(optional) - can replace vanguard end game, but I rarely use it.

Blade Mail(only with Heart of Tarrasque) - same reason for Ghost Scepter =)

Skadi(optional) - I haven't tried it yet. Situations in games I played using Kaldr doesn't allow me to get this item xD

Dagon(optional) - 3rd skill + 2nd skill + dagon = OUCH xD I tried this at first but stopped getting it when I really got to use Kaldr more efficiently. Plus Im much more of a support than a last hitter :))

Malevolence(optional) - I haven't experimented with this one yet, same reason with Skadi. But I bet this will work beautifully.

Anyway these are the items that I can think of. It's all with the player anyway. The first 5 items I listed are must haves for me =)

While other heroes like Lich can make it 1 vs many This dude here is god damn good if he has an ally around him. Just stay back, try not to die, make your spells whenever you can, because they don't need much mana and with that build you've got it, and he's a bomb. You don't need Guinsoo. Too expensive for nothing. He's a SUPPORT - make a lil survivabilty like Shiva and SUPPORT spells - to build up what he already has.

SMTHG else: If in early game some1 leaves from the other team, at lv 11 or upper, make icy touch on urself and spam at the base ulty. It does enoguh dmg to kill it 1 strike but even if it doesn't you can still make another ulty (low CD) before the team realises. +245 gold yay!

(Won't work if they locked their heroes)

WORDS TO THE GUY AT MY TOP:

1. it is better for you to get guinsoo if you can make an orchid. their prices r almost the same.
2. your build leak of hitpoint.
3. he's not a boom. he's a sniper.

Well, look at this hero strategically. You need a guinsoo to complete your kill.

The combo is as follows:
Cold feet
Then directly cast sheep (Guinsoo)
Do ice vortex and ulti target while still frozen from cold feet.
Use shivas if needed and cast demons if he has lothars to reveal invis.

(if you can micro well cast mana burn and attack with demons as part of this combo.

Then use slow and finish him off with attacks/dagon.

for everyone who's said his ulti can only hit noobs and that he's crap:
make sure you stay close to rune when fighting and have vortex under the enemy, when he freezes, just go back a bit and use ulti while he's frozen and under vortex - low levels hero is screwed if not use shiva or dagon
and at long range his ulti is impossible to avoid as it has massive aoe and is rapid, if you cant hit its not cuz he's bad, its cuz youre crap

for me,radiance!!!!his 1st skill is dmg over time + radiance ,while chasing got extra damage,and shatter them with ulti!!!!

I think 1st item build for kaldr is dagon. phase boots are also necessary for him. beacause the use of dagon will help him kill enemies not to mention the effect of ice vortex.

want proof? i got a rampage in garena using kaldr with dagon, phase boots, shiva and regeneration items as an item build for kaldr.

Guys! When u go 1 on 1 wit a hero, this is the combo!
Most probably the opp hero will come to kill u, so cast 1st skill, then slow,then dagon,and then when he is frozen, finish of in style wit his ulti! This will kill the opp hero 99%! Use dagon only after putting ur slow since the damage will be amplifed!

After getting a skadi ur opp hero is frozen for sure! No escape! 100% sure!

the real is you just have to put cold feet and ice vortex with dagon in your inventory you can first blood your enemy here's how it is done

first put a ice vortex
then cold feet your enemy when
yourenemy is frozen you can attack it with dagon
and a little life will remain on your enemy
just attack it normally with your normal attack
then you just hear FIRST BLOOD!!!

For me... Id Rather Suggest....
If You Picked Ancient Apparition "Kaldr"
and you have a Team mate Murloc NightCrawler "Slark" or The Butcher "Pudge" better if Slark will attack the enemy with its "POUNCE" or pudge will hook its enemy and Apparition will attack with Cold Feet+Normal Attack.

You Must Have Power Threads "INT TYPE (THE BLUE ONES)" then BUCKLER or HEADRESS REJ. or MEKANISM then RING OF BASILIUS for your NORMAL ATTACK to be POWERFUL. IF YOU WANT.. ADD BLADES OF ATTACK...

A misunderstood hero By a Lot of players

He is weak against stunners,slows and strength heroes, But he is terror early game for melee,low Hp heroes
-Work towards level ups and kills early game
-Items by mid game in order

Eul's scepter( disable/escape item/speed increase)

Make sure you maintain distance from strength heros, stunners, slows and stop moving alone by the end of mid game,be careful while killing low hp heroes,always tag along a stunner or tank,keep nuking with ice blast and get your Ice Blast to level 3 by end of mid game

-Once u get ice blast lvl 3, stay close to towers and base and disband enemy groups, clean swipe pushes, help your team but from distance
at this stage you can control all 3 lanes single handed- its an aggressive support mode in end game

If u wish to participate in ganks, Make lothars 1st and then guinsoo and mech

-start with Ice blast end with ice blast
-You dont chase,instead u make them run for life if you have learned well to nuke with ICE BLAST
-practice ice blasting..
-Watch mini map after launch and screen just when about to hit
-Try targeting hero around creeps so that you get creep gold
-If ur trail misses before blasting or if hero as moved far away from trail path,, try going for neutrals and blast there rather it going for complete waste

This hero has more room for experimentation..

The 2nd and 3rd skill is useless in early game

Here is a real killing combo

Put Ice Vortex at least at the back of the enemy to slow him down and force to fight.

Then Cold Feet so he takes extra damage because of the effect of Ice Vortex
then Chilling Touch between you and the enemy so you gain attack damage.

If the enemy is standing still….

go for the ultimate

dont worry ancient have plenty of mana..

well, Kaldr is a very situational hero, depending on your team, he can be a supporter or even a killer if you want to (but obviously not a tanker though)

1)Supporter way
This way is for those that like to play Kaldr in a passive way (supporting)
generally his item build will be:
1)BoT (must to have)
2)Guinso
3)Shiva
4)Eul
The rest is anything you want (as long is not dagon)
Why Eul if you have guinso? Guinso is for helping landing his ultimate, while eul is for his cold feet. Cast cold feet+ice vortex then eul = frozen solid (except those with blink abilities) guinso is used when you want to cast your ulti so guinso+ulti = 80% chances the attack will hit.

2)Carry path
Well this is where Kaldr becomes aggresive, He's like an Int Nevermore, extremely dangerous at early-mid games, so yes you do have to gank and kill ALOT
his Item build will be:
1)Dagon (no this is not a joke, you must have it)
2)Skadi
3)PT (not BoT)
4)Shiva/cuirass ( up to you, I prefer cuirass though)
5)MKB
6)BKB
NOTE: playing as carry Kaldr is VERY" situational, If you HAVE team that has good initiator AND AoE disablers.
Playing aggresive Kaldr is also only for those confident enough in casting ulti and cold feet without the use of guinso

item guide: power threads, orchid staff, shivas guard, eye of skadi or radiance, buriza dokyanon, heart of tarasque or vanguard/khadgars pipe.

Kaldr is easy to kill if facing with Morphling in early . . . but it's good to use kaldr when the enemy have abadon, why? because if he cast ice blast, even borrowed time can,t refill abadons hp (it's work for disabled Purist healing, Bloodseekers bloodbath, Huskar regen too)

And With his cold feet skill, it will easy to slain roshan in early games . . . cause roshan will frozen (cold feet will erase roshans linken and frozen him)

i didn't agree with people say that only noobs will hited by Kaldr ice blast . . . when war, it have a big chance to hit (+ if there is faceless Void in team) even pro can't escape if he caught by crnosphere . . . Lol

but it's easy to avoid ice blast . . . use gem . . . and you will see where kaldr targeted his ice blast . . . just move a centimeter and ^^ it miss

well, kaldr is a rather rare type of hero, in my opnion. he has two long range skill, the slow thingy and his ulti. so i think its best that he stays back when huge team battle. finish his guinsoo first in case of emergency. i put in kelen too. i know hes not the chaser type, but he do have the ability to cast slow in a fron a far place, so in case of a low-hp hero running from battle, he can walk in the jungle and blink past the fleeing hero, but dont show up within his sight; estimate his move and cast a slow spell. since its a big aoe spell, itll take the enemy hero a while to get out, from there , itll be ur choice whether to freeze him or guisoo.. but just stay in the dark so u wont be targeted,, let team killer kill the fleeing hero.

hmm guys , AA is awesome hero although he isnt imba but he can kill easily. like jznw got some1 said only NOOBs will kena his ulti ,i strongly disargee cause when u are low hp n running back to ur fountain,would you relly focus sumthing(AA ulti )have fly towards you? secondly when level 6 i can be the starter hero ,just throw an ulti to enemy n my teamate can kill them easily ( my teamate :Sk , sven .. lina n skilller )

Check out my strategy,

For Lane killing [example in mid, but make sure you can kill the enemy in a nuke type attack]

Cast Ice vortex, after the cooldown, cast again, the first vortex is still in there so it will become to slow, Cast cold feet [no need for skadi or guinsoo if cold feet is cast with imba timing]

Hit it as long as you can, after that cast a dagon. Your enemy's life will go low [if the enemy has still no imba item or imba resistance] after that cast you ulti, the nearer the better. Why? you can just press the shortcut key of the ulti as fast as you can [if it is only near you, if it is in distance, timing will be meaningful]This hero will become more imba if you will keep the gap of your level higher than your enemies so i prefer it solo because if you have bottle and a crow, spam your vortex. THIS IS A VERY NOOB SKILL GUIDE.

This is The Way Apparation should be played.

lvl 1 - cold fleetlvl-2-stats
lvl-3-cold fleet
lvl-4-stats
lvl-5-cold fleet

lvl-7-cold fleet and so on..

The reason you should get Stats instead of the Ice Vortex is...
It will give you a HUGEEEEEEE laning mid advantage.
and will give you additional stats to cast cold fleet all the time.
attack speed , damage and str is needed as well.
as you may notice. apparation is not that kind of an AS hero.
but with the use of Cold Fleet's Stun. a Battle apparation is not such a bad idea. but ofcourse. you will need dagon to ..
VORTEX + COLD FLEET + SS + DAGON = 1hit COMBO

i agree, you should start with cold feet and stats ice vortex is nice but i do fine without it, i also go dagon and those scourge chimes that reduce magic resistance. have fun guys
