well, having some extra taverns is really hard to understand...

why not keep the taverns the way it is... it's kinda weird having sentinel and scourge heroes mixed in one heck of a tavern

just use -ap

my guess is that icefrog wants to put all the tavern in one place so that some modes like -cm or -ap make it easy without having to scroll top/btm/top/btm

Plz dont give the link. Icefrog doesn't want it, and i think its better to give dditional information than leaking a bugged or non-final version. Nice remakes and changes btw. Hope hes keeping the balance

The way I view it people that want info and not the map just have no self control, they want the info but if you give a link they feel that they will end up downloading it and be spoiled, which is dumb.

So if you want to take people's opinions into account I would look for comments that don't want any leaks (including screenshots) instead of people with no self control.

Or you stole the info and images (and added the watermark) from DotA Utilities? Since they sisn't posted the map, you couldnt post it rigth?
The comments in that blog start a few hours before the comments in your blog, wich may mean you stole the info.

I think that he stole everything from Dota utilities, because all images have EXACTLY THE SAME NAME, and how is that possible? Two men gave the same names for all of their pictures? Well thats a big NO!

Wow, to be honest i'm shocked seeing my images being stolen, the watermark is removed and even accusing me stealing their images.

Man, i never did anything bad to that site.. Why they really want me down so greatly :( The only thing i ever did to them is when i warn them because they copied my post couple month ago (well, it's your choice to decide if this a bad things or not).

Thanks for all the people who defend me and support me. I always list the source if indeed i take it from another site. Check all my post and even remind me if i missed some.

We all know the effort put forth by Icefrog, however, we'd like to check things out by ourselves as well. Nobody can take away what Icey has already built. We're just there to appreciate the changes and give feedback. Nobody's making any money out of this anyways.

I agree with an above poster in saying that the people who get mad that leaks are posted are probably already mad at this, and the people who want leaks are mad at it not being posted.

My own reason for wanting the beta is the fact that some cool things are changed before the map is released. Like in the last beta where Dirge had his new beetle throwing plague kind of skill. I loved the idea of that skill, because it was a unique thing, and what does Icefrog do? Remove it to put back Soul Rip.

Not that it was the worst decision, but I liked trying the new skill out when I could, which I could not have if you didn't release the beta that time. Thanks for all the betas you've released before now though, I actually bookmarked this site because it was the only one reliable for betas. :)

Tauren only has one ability so far- his ulti, and it seems to crash the game. No clue what it does.

New razor seems really rigged. No need for a maelstrom anymore.

hmm ..well tried the new beta map and i gotta say .. above everything else .. the new razor FTW ! man i just love that hero .. i learnt playing dota with that hero and now its awesome to see the mega buff on him...
apart from that viper's new passive skill will face some good nerf soon .. and the force staff a short alternative of blink for intelli heroes which gives some damage and intelligence as well ? and batty is just so much fun .. like all other troll heroes :)

Beastmaster and Troll have swapped skills.

When Lina's passive skill procs, she gets trails on her hands so you know it's working. Similar to troll's red trails..haha. It's cool to see lina with Troll's ulti graphics.

I love Razor's new skills

Skill 1:
Shock: It's a triggered chain lightning. Every unit struck by the lightning will get purged for 3 seconds. Does 280 damage to 6 enemies at level 4.

Skill 2:
Electric Rave: It's the Old Storm Spirit skill, nothing's change except for the mana cost being reduced.

Skill 3:
Storm Seeker: Every 4 attacks will activate Storm Seeker, deals 120 damage to nearby enemies.

Ultimate:
Unholy Fervor: increases movespeed by 10%/15%/20%. Bonus is decreased by 1% for every nearby enemy unit.

I'm sorry if some of you disappointed with me. When i'm making this post, i'm trying to respect IceFrog by not share the map and just give the preview (like he does).

And some moment after i publish the post i got a mail from IceFrog asking me to not share the map, and he can accept the fact that i already post some picture even though he didn't like it. And i said to him, that i will keep the map safe until someone else leaked it (because if that happen, it won't matter anymore if i keep it or not).

Alief, Remove the download link immediately. You should not share it to the public. IceFrog already allows you to post images but never share the map to anyone. Now it is too much.

Force staff is the fucking best item to ever step into dota. Simple as that.

So far, all the hero/item changes were for the best. (i'm having doubts about the lina change)

some corrections from other posts:
-lich already has 7 bounces on all levels
-fastrespawn, only mid and only range were already in-game
-no change to clock's ulti

Imba! use ultimate's bat rider to a hero then teleport to the fountain. And if u increase IAS razor so owning skill Storm Seeker. Why every i use ultimate chieftrain! Will be fatal error

I tried using bat's ulti and teleport--doesn't work. It breaks the ulti...as far as the combo is concerned, it seems that ulti, plus firefly is the way to go, since the hero you drag get scorched by the fire trail...

also firefly let's you fly over cliffs and trees, this also breaks trees in the process.

Nice change, but I guess it will be removed, since Windrunner used to have this for an ultimate.

Well I tried both hero. Chieftain only had Earth Splitter skill, which I don't know whats that(no effect on creeps).
Well For Bat Rider I found a combo(for this leakage only): Firefly + Firenet(I forgotten the name).
Well hope for official version.

New Razor is very imba now... He kinda reminds me of good ol' SS (Storm Spirit).. And Viper's new skill "Nethertoxin" is also WAY imba.. When i saw Razor's ulti as third passive i was like: "WTF?!"
It's good for harassing in early game and creeping.And new Chain Lightning (now named Shock) is sick.It damages AND purges the units it jumps on.
Though they are a bit imba, nice job Icey! :)

yeah it reminds me of the old Storm..WFT!! its not good to me, coz i dont like razor that much.. the old razor is such a very good pusher n dpser, now he is a f****** ganker!!!! bloodstone should be one of his core items now...

Kunkka had many changes done on him between the beta and official release :S Practically all his skills were changed during that time.

i gonna blame you guys if iceforg decides to stop working on dota cuz ppl release the beta map for download....

Anyway, I realised that the changes to Razor is like "recycling" the Old Storm. Its not really like Icefrog.
Razor's ultimate is also crap so I doubt Icefrog will actually keep those skills, expect lots of changes.
Also, Last Word was nerfed. 0.75/1.5/2.25/3.0 seconds duration.

PS: If Icefrog does quit, it would probably when no one plays it, not when everyone is desperate to even have a peek at the beta.

What is -bonus command? It is always 0/0, probably it need human players to test.

IceFrog has, on numerous occations, stated that the little joy he gets from making dota is reduced to seeing the publics reactions when he posts a full new package which noone has seen before. If he did not have this, he would not be making Dota.

By leaking and sharing the beta maps you are denying him that simple request. I honestly hope you find it so good to see the beta a few weeks earlier that you are willing to sacrifice the future of dota all together because if this happens again there will be no more dota.

The force stick isn't exactly that imba if you read its description properly - Pushes enemy(only) 500 units in the direction he is facing. So you can't use it to run or chase, but it IS imba in a way that it is an extremely versatile skill where you can put a hero out of a battle for a while (use it after pudge hooks you etc.), cancel some channeling spells, and maybe push someone to your towers early game. The most hilarious use I found for it was with the only spoon who could lay mines.

Diffusal nerfed > Agi from 25 to 22
Skadi recipe cost buffed to 850
Troll lost his Fervor aura and got BM's passive
Likewise, BM's passive was changed to Fervor aura (40% aspd at max level)
Stormbolt is now an AoE 325 damage stun.
Sven's armor aura was changed to a skill which increases Armor and MS for a short time.
Lina Inverse the Slayer lost Ultimate and got Boost (+50% aspd and +5% ms every time she casts a spell. Stackable with itself, each stack lasts 6 seconds)
Tiny's Crappy Exterior isn't so crappy anymore and gives armor (+3, +4, +5 and +6).
Bristleback's INT buffed dramatically (2.8 per level lolwut)

Icefrog is just trying to make some changes to dota bcoz i think he saw some1's email n think its a great idea and wanted to try making that. Its just a beta map maybe he'll change back the hero if its bad.Last WOULD IT KILL U TO TRY THE MAP AFTER ITS RELEASED.Maybe Icefrog wants u to try out the map n find out the secret or new stuff yourself after its released.(or check the changelog)

I also love that pushing item for puck's ultimate, force them to take the stun and damage (I would say rupture, but isn't worth the cost for that hero)

I think these leaks prove that people are yearning for newer versions after the release of a new stable version.

With these leaks, we can easily compare the difference of a beta version and a stable one, and how difficult IceFrog's job/hobby is.

Sven is so imba.
No one can solo against viper now - slow + massive damage, I can`t imagine which hero can survive.

This beta is beta 21, i think is a very old beta, because Icefrog, when releasing beta maps, is a lot faster than that, i remember 6.55 beta, was in beta 31 in less than a month, so this beta after 2 months is only on 21, is a very old Beta, that probally has lots of thinks already changed

IceFrog has, on numerous occations, stated that the little joy he gets from making dota is reduced to seeing the publics reactions when he posts a full new package which noone has seen before. If he did not have this, he would not be making Dota.

By leaking and sharing the beta maps you are denying him that simple request. I honestly hope you find it so good to see the beta a few weeks earlier that you are willing to sacrifice the future of dota all together because if this happens again there will be no more dota.

Leaks are going to happen, and while some people get the wrong impressions from them (OMG THIS HER0 IZ IMBA!!1 NERF PLOX), others will realize this is an unstable version of the map and things WILL change before the map is officially released. Human beings are curious by nature and there's nothing wrong with being anxious enough to download beta leaks.


I'm surprised it took this long for 6.60 to be leaked. Can't wait to see the official version :)

I think it's better to ask IceFrog himself to stop searching for Beta Testers and pick those Beta Testers from the official DotA Forum site instead. This will minimize leakages.

I think IceFrog wants someone to leak Beta versions of the map for us to stop begging for a new version.

Dude, Icefrog doesn't want people to leak not because people will know what is to come. He just doesn't like it when people tries these old beta maps (remebmer the newest leaked beta for 6.55 was miles away from the actual version) and find it incomplete/not good enough.
Beta leaks are fine. There are so many beta testers, they would leak the news to their friends and their friends will leak it to their other friends. Are you implying that beta testers are "Fucking Faggot leakers"?
As for now, Tauren Chieftain is barely even done. It must be a rather old beta.

Btw the nether toxin is the single most powerfull skill in that map. Isn't it good to have around 66-78+132 dmg with no items at lvl 7?

You don't have that damage right away. You need to wait until enemy's health drops under some percentange, just like Huskar's third skill when he goes into berserk.
