hey IceFrog talkin about .x9 side quest. does it means that it is already in 6.59? or in 6.59b???

HI, put the frogs into bottles so you can transport them more easily. However, is there a special order in which you need ot put the totems? cause last time i planted them i was so foolish and destroyed them by accident (they werent invulnearble)

just summon the totem
and by the way if you're using whosyourdaddy and still having difficulty defeating tauren, use -noherolimit and use techies
-wtf mode too
just plant your mines and he'll die before he can regenerate

how to use icefrog to kill the tauren? gather 4 of the frog and next step is wat? it have wat effect to the taurent with 4 of the frog?

sent those 4 frogs to where you summon the totem.
it will make the totem vulnerable to attack and you can destroy the totem which gives tauren chieftain insane hp regen.
but even without the totem, tauren chieftain still hard to be killed as he has huge,crazy amount of hp.

the item reward CHIEFTAIN AXE...>.<'' wow!! super imba can knock back unit over 2000 range distance, ive been wonder if 6.60 chieftain(new hero) will have that skill :P

hi,I found the totems and I summoned DA beast(and he is xtremely powerfull :])BUT I can't find Those Damn ICEFROGSSSS!! :(
can someone post a link or a pic how to grab(catch,get)Those icefrogs.

gather and activate the 4 totems 1st then gather all 4 frogs in bottles and activate near totem to destroy the totems

killed the chieftain in like 10 mins... damn long.... i used -noherolimit with 5 heros btw... itemwise and hero choice you decide, wun spoil the fun by telling you how it is done tho!! oh yah its better not to put -wtf cos the chieftain has a linken... and mines with techies does not work!!

I use Rexxar: HoT, Divine, Buriz, Satanic, PT & Cuirass.

Used cheat: gold and lvlup (25)

Time to kill: 20+ min.

He will be an imba tanker in 6.60...

after a long time fight the TC over half a hour, at last i killed him and i was discover some skill that familiar as others hero example, shockwave(ursa), also seem like he have a passive(basher)1 sec stun, also passive(knockback) "sometimes i got knockback when i close to him even when he did not attacking me, and the last 1, he can do a AOE knock back all unit surround him..HMM probably this was his ulti. >.<'' could this skill could be use by TC in the next 6.60 ??

naix + power treads + lots of tango or tree destroyer ally + hawk + bottle + gem of true sight

indeed. agreed with naix. i did the run too in 12 min, from finding totems to killing TC. gold with 14k, 10 + 4k start gold. only had 2 items to kill him. Shall not spoil the fun, anyway it's possible to do it in norm games. haha

damn, do the totems give him some strength or only massive hp regen? i can't beat him with a naix with 3 hypers and 2 bashers because he stuns me 5 times in a row

I have another problem. I put all 4 frogs next to the totems, but only earth totem is destructable.

ok i just beat him, but i don't see how this would be possible in a normal game(without the help of your allies)

the last 30k hp(out of 500k) goes down really slow

LoL Beat him with any ranged unit with decent pew-pew dps and -test mode. Wait for TC to go onto the tree stumps and type -trees :D
Took ages but it worked :P

if you want to go with the stucking method, you don't even have to use the test mode; it's easy to get him stuck without it

not impossible if u have different teammates drop totems, and then run off to base to regen.

1st skill is slam
2nd is the skill from his axe . .
3rd is (maybe) summon totem
ultimate skill i dunno

just guess~

U need gem to see the icefrog
send icefrog to the tc
the icefrog will die and u an hit the totem

Explain of the Totem :


Totem of Fire : Give TC Damage
Totem of Water: Give TC Insane Regen
Totem of Earth: Give TC More Armor
Totem of Wind : Give TC More Attack Speed >.<

Maybe you just destroy that water totem ^_^

Lol, the Axe of the Chieftain is ultra IMBA. Gives Knockback and 200 damage :D

Its easy too kill him without the icefrogs.

Get someone to lure him out of his small hole, type -trees to trap him outside and mass serpent wards with Rhasta. Make sure you do not move heroes into his attacking range as he will strike them and cut down trees.

Have FUN doing it the hard way if u cant find the icefrogs like me.

ive noticed the totems give him diff abilities..one gives him +50 armor,one gives him mad life regen,one gives him extra damage..im not so sure about the last one tho..

i bought two bottles and put one icefrog in the first one.. then i emptied the second one to put the second ice frog i saw.. when i accidentally double clicked the bottle after it was emptied it became full with something.. then i noticed it was another icefrog.. so i had two icefrogs already even without putting the second one in.. so you dont need to go and get all icefrogs.. im just not sure if this will work with only one bottle..

this is 6.59c not 6.60

This quest is really useless. What's the point of doing the quest if you can end game which is better.

For you to try to do the quest, you must have the upper hand in the game because if you leave your base then it will be very vulnerable to the enemy...

This quest was meant to be for fun only, while in single player or w/ your friends.
why bother this quest while playing in pubs? that is just stupid.

Combine Gem, eyes, dust & scroll. And you have artifact Eye of Death which can see invisible units. What you think about?..

finally.. i killed the freaky boss... it took like 5 mins woth wind runner that had 2 MKBs 2 bashers 1 sange and yasha.. i fought him at the corner where you cant be knock back that much... and i had to use whoseyourdaddy to do so... damn.... that was tough.

an tatanga nyo its not his real damage and hp or strenght its just because its a freakin boss assholes like invoker he was so imba too when you need na ice frogs right?? so its not his real power or smthing smthing or anything like invoker he was a strong bitch when u fought him in the quest but it was trash in ingame right????
